Island Transit Maximized – Take the Survey
Island Transit Maximized is a new initiative that has evaluated all aspects of our current public transit system and identified where improvements can be made to create more accessible, convenient, safe, friendly, and sustainable bus services. This provides all our community members greater access to jobs, education, shopping, residential areas, medical facilities, and other opportunities across Island County.
We are reaching out to you to look at Island Transit’s service improvement options and provide your feedback by prioritizing the services you believe will benefit you and the community most.
Island Transit Maximized Survey
We’re starting by asking as many people as we can reach to fill out the Island Transit Maximized Survey. It only takes about 10 minutes to check some boxes and provide comments that will help shape the future of public transit in Island County.

IT Maximized Webinars
Two virtual webinars have been scheduled via Zoom to review the Island Transit Maximized Service Proposal with anyone interested in learning more about proposed routes and services. Webinars are an opportunity for community members to learn more about this initiative and better understand the proposed improvements. The online open house will include a presentation of the initiative’s objectives as well as provide an opportunity for public comment and input. Feedback from the open house will be included in the final presentation to the Island Transit Board of Directors.
